Privacy policy

What 0451 Software collects when you visit 0451software.com or send us a message, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it. Plain English, no dark patterns.

1. Who we are

0451 Software ("0451 Software," "we," "us") operates this website at 0451software.com and the products linked from it. You can reach the studio at hello@0451software.com for any question on this policy.

2. What information we collect

We collect a small amount of information, and we tell you exactly what it is. The categories are:

  • Information you send us. When you submit the contact form on this site, we receive your name, email address, the company field if you fill it in, and the message body. Nothing else.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, CloudFront + S3) records standard request metadata for every request: IP address, user agent, request path, response status, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
  • Cookies. This site does not set any cookies. Mobile-nav state is held in DOM attributes for the current page-load and is not persisted. The site does not run Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixel.
  • Fonts. Page typography loads from Google Fonts. Google may log requests to its font CDN; that is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

3. How we use the information

  • Contact submissions are used solely to reply to your inquiry and to record whether we have an active engagement with you.
  • Server logs are used to detect abuse, debug outages, and compute aggregate traffic counts. We do not profile individual visitors.
  • Cookies and fonts are used to render the site correctly. Removing them may degrade layout but does not affect your ability to contact us.

5. How long we keep data

  • Contact submissions: retained for 24 months from the date of last contact, then deleted. We keep them long enough to maintain continuity in client engagements; we don't keep them forever.
  • Server logs: retained for up to 30 days, then deleted.
  • Aggregated traffic counts: retained indefinitely in non-identifiable form.

6. Your rights & how to request deletion

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@0451software.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days. We verify identity on a case-by-case basis using the contact information on file.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. Exercising these rights is free and goes through the same email channel above.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS via CloudFront. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. We do not store contact-form submissions in any system that is not access-controlled by the studio. We will disclose any material breach affecting your personal data in line with applicable law.

9. International transfers

The site is served from AWS regions in the United States. By using the site, you understand your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. If you require a data-processing addendum for your engagement with 0451 Software, contact hello@0451software.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the policy changes. The "Effective" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — for example, adding a new third-party service that processes personal data — will be announced in advance on this page.
